New Laptop Acer AC700 Chromebook |The AC700 is Acer's first Chromebook launch. The device comes with an 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit LCD and features HDMI output for those who want to connect the device to an HDTV. The Chromebook weighs 2.95 pounds and comes in at just one-inch thick. Users can connect to the Web via Wi-Fi and work on the device for six hours on a single charge.
Acer AC700, the new model will sport an 11.6-inch HD Widescreen CineCrystal LED-backlit LCD screen and come with an Intel Atom N570 dual-core processor. It will have 2GB of DDR3 memory and a 16GB SSD on the storage front.
The launch means that the Samsung Series 5 Chromebook, recently launched in the US and the UK is not longer the only model on the market for those wanting to get their hands on the new offering from Google and it's partners.
If you’re interested in these Chromebooks you should be interested to hear that Acer has a brand new model coming to market in the form of the AC700. This Chromebook features an Intel Atom N570 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 card reader and a 1.3 megapixel web cam. Unfortunately this model does not feature 3G connectivity but that’s made up for with its $349.99 price tag and the fact that it’s shipping before the end of the month.
