Notebook sale Schenker XMG A701 advance is bets on the pure speed advantage of its all round bundle, XMG A701 ADVANCED. After the small 15.6 inch brother, XMG A501 with a Crucial RealSSD C300, awed many notebook fans – or at least it was able to activate them (144 comments about the review), a 17 incher now complements the wish for a strong desktop replacement with a large, matt display.
In der Basisversion wird der Notebook sale Schenker XMG A701 (Affiliate-Link) mit 849 Euro angeboten. Dann gibt es aber nur einen Intel Core i7-2630QM (2.0 GHz). Will man die volle CPU-Dröhnung, muss man zum Intel Core i7-2920XM greifen, dessen Turbomodus den 3.5 GHz-Gipfel erklimmt, dafür aber auch satte 868 Euro Aufpreis kostet. Wenn man schon dabei ist, dann schaden 8 GB RAM (90 Euro) ebenso wenig wie eine 256 GB SSD, die nochmals 483 Euro kostet. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten (darunter erstaunlicherweise ein WLAN-Modul) und schon erreicht man in der «Ich-will-alles Konfiguration die stattliche Summe von 2539 Euro.
