MSI FX420 and FX620DX notebooks Specification
MSI has announced their two Sandy Bridge powered laptops namely MSI FX620DX and FX420 has the better performance and with multimedia experience. The both models has sheathed in non-peeling raised texture seal coating that prevent from scratching and smudging, and have platinum trim around the speakers and body. The MSI yet not announced both laptop’s release date and price information yet
The smaller MSI FX420 comes in a smaller package, but you don’t need to give up much power for the added portability. The FX420 comes with a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5 Sandy Bridge processor, up to 750GB storage, Blu-Ray and uses an AMD Radeon HD 6470M with 1GB DDR3 video RAM. The 14″ display has a 1366×768 resolution. There is also a 1.3MP webcam and Bluetooth connectivity.
The MSI FX620DX is powered by a 2GHz Intel Core i7-2630QM or a 2.30GHz Intel Core i5-2410M processor, a 4GB DDR3 memory, a 750GB hard drive, a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920×1080) or HD (1366×768) LED backlight display, a DVD burner or an optional Blu-ray drive, an nVidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card (1GB DDR3 VRAM) and an HD webcam.
On the hardware side, the laptops will sport “non-peeling raised texture seal coating” for scratch and smudge resistance with chrome, blue lights around the keyboard and buttons. Users can also expect the Eco Engine and GPU Boost software, which should improve battery life and overclock the GPU during certain scenarios, respectively.
