Intel Ivy Bridge Meluncur April 2012


Intel's recently rumored to unveil the newest generation of processors, Ivy Bridge, in April to come.Ivy Beridge processor for laptops and desktops, the promise to improve the performance of approximately 37 percent larger than Sandy Bridge processors.

Reported Itworld, Monday (02/01/2012), Ivy Bridge, the new CPU architecture using 22 nanometers, which makes measuring 30 percent smaller than current processors, which use 32-nanometer architecture.

Smaller chip means less power consumption, and more room for the integrated graphics chip. Ivy Bridge can support DirectX 11, Thunderbolt, and USB 3.0.

According to DigiTimes, Ivy Bridge, the first processor to be launched is a quad-core processors for desktops, the Core i7-Core processor 3370 also i53570, 3550, and 3440. Because the Ivy Bridge is backward-compatible (compatible with previous versions), desktop users should be able to find an upgrade path that has been available.

Ivy's first notebook to be sliding bridge is the Core i7, but it also Core i7-3920QM, 3820QM, and 3720QM.
