SPESIFIKASI Toshiba recalls 41,000 burn hazard laptops

Users of Satellite T135, Satellite T135D and Satellite ProT130 laptops are advised to stop using the hardware immediately.

Toshiba says it has so far received 129 reports of the power socket overheating and deforming the plastic case of the PC.

Two unfortunate punters have reported minor burns "which did not require medical treatment" and another two reported "minor property damage".

The units were sold worldwide between August 2009 and August 2010 and in this case all serial numbers are included in the recall.

Toshiba says the BIOS application will give further instructions as to whether a repair is required and that anyone without access to the Internet should contact them directly.
